We often get phone calls and emails from people asking similar things. To save you some time and effort, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions.
Are the test fee’s included in the cost?
Your first attempt for each test is included. If you fail either the theory or practical then you are required to pay for the next attempt.
What is the refund policy?
If you book a course with us and we have issued you with either a theory or practical test date then you we will lose 50% of the course.
If you have booked a course and changed your mind before agreeing our terms and conditions then just a £25 admin fee will be charged.
If you have commenced the driving course then unfortunately no refund can be given should you change your mind at short notice.
Is all the training 1-2-1?
Yes, we do not put more than one student in the car. Your dedicated instructor is committed to only you and he/she will do their very best to help you pass first time.
Can I choose my instructor/car?
Depending on the area, you may able to choose your instructor or car. If this essential then we advise you don’t book online and call the office to make sure we can accommodate your needs.
Why do I have to pay a deposit, can I pay the full amount on the day?
Unfortunately a lot of time and effort is required to source you a date for the theory/practical test. We also need to manage our instructors diary so they can fit you in smoothly and swiftly. Because of this we do require a financial commitment from you at the beginning which is the deposit.
Can you arrange a theory and practical test in one week?
Although some companies advertise the theory test and practical in one week, this is not possible. Some companies may say 75% or 95% chance of getting a short notice test. They are saying this to cover themselves when they let you down. Unless they can guarantee 100% they will accommodate theory and practical test in one week your better of with Swift Drive.
